The First Chapter Booster Box

Disney Lorcana began here. The First Chapter launched the game at local game stores and Disney Parks on 18 August 2023, and you can still buy The First Chapter Booster Box Australia-wide to open 24 packs of the debut set. Mass retail followed on 1 September 2023, and the set remains a friendly entry point today.

Buy The First Chapter Booster Box Australia: what you get

• 24 booster packs from Set 1
• 12 cards per pack: 1 foil, 2 rare or higher, 3 uncommon and 6 common
• Cards drawn from a debut pool of more than 200

How Lorcana plays

Two or more players take the role of Illumineers, drawing on six magical inks: Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Steel. A deck can use up to two of them. You summon Disney characters known as glimmers, play actions, items and songs, and race to be first to 20 lore by questing or by challenging your opponent’s characters.

The game is rated for ages 8 and up, and a two-player match takes about 20 minutes, so it fits easily into a school night or a lunch break.

Why Set 1 still makes a good start

The First Chapter was designed to welcome newcomers, yet it carries enough depth for competitive play. Opening First Chapter packs is a neat way to learn how each ink feels before branching into later sets, and the commons and uncommons you collect along the way make handy building blocks.

Who a Lorcana Set 1 booster box suits

A Lorcana Set 1 booster box suits families learning together, players who want to collect the game from its first release, and anyone building a binder in set order. It also makes a generous gift for a Disney fan curious about card games.
