Six booster boxes sit inside the case, and each one contains 36 boosters of 10 cards. Across the case that is 216 packs and 2,160 cards, plenty for a big opening session or months of trading with friends.

Inside the Set

Beyond Charizard ex, the set features Tyranitar ex, Eiscue ex and Vespiquen ex as Tera Pokémon, plus Dragonite ex, Greedent ex, Revavroom ex and Melmetal ex. The set overview lists:

• Over 190 cards
• Type-shifted Tera Pokémon ex, the Darkness-type Charizard ex among them
• More than 20 new Pokémon ex
• More than 15 Trainer cards
• Dozens of cards with special illustrations

A different kind of Charizard

Charizard is usually associated with Fire, so a Darkness-type version gives this set a distinctive twist. That makes the set a talking point for Charizard collectors, while players can explore what a Tera Pokémon with a shifted type brings to a deck. Six boxes give you plenty of packs to open as you build around the set’s Pokémon ex.

Storing a case properly

If you plan to keep some boxes sealed, store the case in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Leaving the boxes in their outer case also reduces knocks and dents, which matters if you like to display sealed product.
