Heroic Beginnings ST01A Gundam Assemble Starter Set

Amuro Ray and the Gundam on one side, Suletta Mercury and the Gundam Aerial on the other: Heroic Beginnings bridges classic and new Gundam in a single Blue and White deck. To buy ST01A Heroic Beginnings Australia-wide, this starter set gives you the deck plus three GUNDAM ASSEMBLE miniatures to put on the table.

Buy ST01A Heroic Beginnings Australia: what comes in the set

• A 50-card deck with the same cards as the ST01 starter deck
• 3 different GUNDAM ASSEMBLE kits
• 10 Resource cards
• 8 token cards, three of them unit tokens
• A paper damage counter
• A rule sheet and playsheet
• 1 bonus pack with a full-art holo version of one of the deck’s 16 cards

A balanced deck for learning the game

Blue and White play a balanced style, which makes this Blue and White deck a forgiving way to learn the Gundam Card Game. You are not locked into all-out attack or pure defence, so you can get a feel for fielding Mobile Suit units, pairing them with Pilots and managing Resources before choosing a direction for your next deck.

Heroes from two eras

Amuro Ray stands for the original Mobile Suit Gundam, while Suletta Mercury and the Gundam Aerial come from The Witch from Mercury. Having both in one list is a fun way to share the game between long-time fans and newer viewers.

Building your GUNDAM ASSEMBLE models

The three kits are mini Gunpla that sit on token cards during play. They come unpainted, and paints and tools are sold separately, so you can build them straight from the frame or take your time with a custom finish.

If you already own ST01, the Heroic Beginnings starter set is the way to add the miniatures, since the deck itself is the same. Iron-Blooded Orphans fans can find three more kits from that series in the PC01A Premium Collection.

Next steps after the Heroic Beginnings starter set

For a second deck to play against, the Wings of Advance ST02A starter set brings Gundam Wing’s Heero Yuy and Zechs Merquise. When you want to grow beyond the starter, the Newtype Rising GD01 booster box brings back Mobile Suit Gundam and The Witch from Mercury with more cards.
