Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when you shop with TCG PokeVault: orders, payment, pre-orders, shipping, returns and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

These terms and conditions (Terms) apply when you use tcgpokevault.com.au (the Website) or buy products from TCG PokeVault (we, us, our), an online trading card store based in Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. About these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown on the Website when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. If anything in these Terms is unclear, please contact us before you order.

2. Products and product information

We sell sealed trading card products, graded cards and singles. We describe every product as accurately as we can, including the official contents published by the manufacturer.

  • Product images are for illustration. Packaging and artwork can vary between print runs, regions and versions.
  • Booster packs, booster boxes and other randomised products contain randomly assorted cards. We can’t guarantee which cards any product contains, and pull rates are set by the manufacturer, not by us.
  • Products are in English unless the listing says otherwise, for example Japanese or Chinese products.
  • Graded cards are sold as graded by the grading company named in the listing. A grade is that company’s opinion of the card’s condition.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD). Shipping is added at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but a change won’t affect an order we have already accepted. If a product is listed at a price that is clearly an error, we may cancel the order and refund any payment you have made.

You can pay using the payment methods shown at checkout. If you choose direct bank transfer, our bank account details will be provided to you after you place your order. Please use your order number as the payment reference. Your order is placed on hold until your payment has cleared, and if payment isn’t received within a reasonable time we may cancel the order.

4. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the products in your cart. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, if we suspect fraud, or if an order exceeds a quantity limit for a popular release. If we cancel an order, we will refund any payment you have made for it.

5. Pre-orders

Pre-order products are paid for when you place your order. Release dates are set by manufacturers and distributors and can change, so the date shown is our best estimate. We will ship pre-orders as soon as we receive the stock.

If our allocation from a distributor is smaller than expected and we can’t fill your pre-order, we will let you know and refund you in full for the products we can’t supply. If you would like to cancel a pre-order, please contact us before it ships.

6. Shipping and delivery

We ship with Australia Post. The current shipping options are:

  • Auspost Standard (within Australia): $15 per order
  • Auspost Express (within Australia): $25 per order
  • Auspost International (outside Australia): $40 per order

Orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 working days after your order is placed. For bank transfer orders, this is within 1–2 working days of your payment clearing. Delivery times after dispatch are estimates from Australia Post and are not guaranteed.

  • Please check that your delivery address is correct. We aren’t responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.
  • Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.
  • International orders may attract import duties, taxes and customs fees in the destination country. These are the recipient’s responsibility, and customs processing times are outside our control.
  • If your parcel seems to be lost, contact us and we will work with Australia Post to find it.

7. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please check your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will work with you to arrange a replacement, repair or refund in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Returns and refunds

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have problems that don’t amount to a major failure fixed in a reasonable time. Find out more about your rights on the ACCC website.

  • If you change your mind, you can return unopened products within 14 days of delivery. They must be unused and in their original condition, with all seals and shrink wrap intact.
  • Products can’t be returned for a change of mind once the seal or shrink wrap has been opened or tampered with.
  • You pay the return postage for change-of-mind returns. We recommend using a tracked service.
  • Once we have received and checked a change-of-mind return, we will refund the price you paid for the product. The original shipping charge isn’t refunded.
  • For damaged, faulty or incorrect items, we cover the return postage (see section 7).
  • Please contact us before sending anything back, so we can tell you how to return it.
  • Refunds are made to your original payment method. For bank transfer orders, we refund to the bank account you nominate.

9. Your account

If you create an account, please keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account, and you should let us know straight away if you think someone else has used it.

10. Intellectual property

The content of this Website, including its text, design and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. Pokémon, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering and other game names are trademarks of their respective owners. TCG PokeVault is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for a product is limited to resupplying it or refunding its price.

12. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
